Thinking about participating at the National tournament?

Here is some additional information to help you make your decision.

COSTS:

As of today, Feb. 7th, 2013, here is our best estimation for the cost of attending the National tournament.   The numbers below are based on 86 people going.  If less people sign up, the cost will increase.

Bussing = $115 per person (based on 86 people, 43 people in 2 coach busses)

 Hotel = $70 per person  (based on 4 people per room, includes breakfast)

*Activities = $75 (estimate based on 2012 costs.  The actual activities have not been scheduled yet and will be discussed at the 2-19-13 booster club meeting).

*Activities are not mandatory.  The cost is dependent on the number of activities you choose to do.

Food = $60 (estimate based on 2012 meal costs.  This amount is estimated to cover 6 meals.)

National Registration Fee = $25

TOTAL = $345

TIME-FRAME:

The National Tournament is held at the convention center in Louisville Kentucky.  The event is May 10-12. We leave early morning on May 9th, so your child(ren) will miss school that day.  We will return to New Prague Sunday morning.  

CHAPERONES:

Parents do not need to accompany archers.  Parents are welcome to travel with the group, but if you cannot please talk to your child’s coach or make arrangements with someone else going for chaperoning purposes.
